MSIE Software Detection With ClientCaps Pt.II

Here is a cleaner snippet to detect installed software through Microsoft Internet explorer. It looks like the previous, but I removed a lot of unnecessary stuff. It's another reconnaissance technique which is fully supported by Internet Explorer, because this is a feature. It is also possible to detect the software version to scan even deeper if you like. I did not include it, but it can be done with the following function: getComponentVersion();It sure helps to detect a little more then we previously could, anyway it's on the snippet shelf. Please notice before commenting: people may know all this stuff already, but that isn't my point. My point or ambition is to create a repository with additional information about certain browser features or hacks in order that we can use it for reference, and to learn and understand it more properly. When the day comes that I know it all, I probably pick another career. ^^
