A quick little update.
The synapse project got it's launch last week, and we now have 33 members so far discussing the Synapse and it's functionalities. We setup a Google group for this reason and a Google code repository to work in. We also have VPS hosting for the Synapse and a new domain name which will be announced soon. So far so good, we are well on our way to let this project bloom! many of our members already submitted their role in the project and on which part they like to work on. Of course we could use more skills at any time to speed up the project.
Currently, we also want people to join who know have knowledge or experience of source code vulnerabilities in PHP/ASP/JAVA/PERL, and how to look for them effectively. This includes vector research and how to analyze all of them. We do focus only on PHP for now, so these skills will be useful in the next phase.
In either case we are always are open to new discussions and ideas!
Anyone can join our group, a request for access can be made here: http://groups.google.com/group/synapse-project
